My friend, this is what the Lord and
Savior Jesus did for you and me...even though I know full well the end of the
story, this picture and thought make me weep and hurt like nothing else
does. To think how Jesus allowed Himself to be scourged, flogged with sharp
leather and metal talons, to be spat upon and hated, then to die an agonizing
death on the cross with ALL of the hate and sin that had ever been or would be
committed by people - that's you and me; it was horrid beyond our true
understanding. We get a small "look" right here...
We believe in the One Lord God~~~ the
Godhead, the Trinity, Three Persons and also God is Spirit.
The Lord God is:
God the Father, God the Son- Jesus
Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
A Personal Case in Point, A Real Life that
Shows Us What God Can Do~~~
My dear friend Nancy Walker told me when
we were talking about this posting, "I told Chuck once that feeling the
Holy Ghost's Presence inside of you is just the best!! There is nothing
else like it to compare." Her husband Chuck and Nancy's wedding
anniversary is August 26th; earlier this month, she has had his birthday and his passing on to
Heaven, milestones earlier. Those dates are so hard, and to
have all three in the same month: they are triple reminders in a short
impactful time!
However, the fellowship of the Lord in the
church and her friends and family bolster her. As Nancy said, God Himself
gives her comfort, calm, peace, protection, and a sure hope and promise!! even
more!
that words cannot truly express.
As true Christians, believing in Jesus
Christ as our Lord and Savior, asking for forgiveness of our sins, and
following Him for the rest of our lives, we do have that date of joining God in
Heaven, most assuredly,
and then that Day becomes the
greatest date of all in our lives!
We are promised as true believers and
disciples of Lord Jesus being with God forever and those loved ones who
went on before...and will yet come! Praise You, God Father, Son, and
Spirit.
The following is what we can absolutely
expect: "absent from the body, present with the Lord!"

What a Joy we have in our God!
Before Jesus died, He said to His
Father in Heaven, "Forgive them for they do not know what they
do." He was right- His crowning glory, the ones He made in His own
image- you and me. We can be so awful, yet so loving. Yes~
sometimes, naive and lead astray...however, some people allow outright evil to
take over their being and are in line with the devil himself- such a loss and
terrible devastation of a person!
Jesus had the profound, unconditional
LOVE and tenacity of Spirit to ask His Father to forgive us- which He did and
does!

Bracken***(See her writing links below) just told me that a minister she heard
on the radio had said,
"Once we accept Jesus Christ as our
Lord and Savior, we are no longer in bondage...we are truly the children He
made in His image!"
Jesus was buried and three days later arose from the grave- Hallelujah! He walked, talked, and ate with His Disciples and other true believers, was seen by over 500 people in a variety of places- until 40 days later when Jesus arose to Heaven, so that the Holy Spirit could come here to minister to the believers.
It is extremely clear: Jesus, the Lord and Savior, the Creator Who knew everything that would happen into eternity; The Lord knew we would believe the snake, the devil- Lucifer- the fallen angel, believing that we could eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and surely would not die- as God told Adam and Eve they would die ahead of time, attempting to avert them from disaster. Jesus foreknew each of us He would call and that ultimately His plan for Salvation was absolutely necessary and would be accepted by free will by many of us. Alternatively, He knows that many will not accept it and end up living their eternal lives in Hell. Lest not one fall, God says!!! He does not want anyone to go to Hell- please make sure YOU will have your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life before you have the first- and only- death from earth. God is no respecter of persons- that means that we are equal before Him. All of Heaven- the angels and saints who have gone ahead of us- cheer and shout and sing and dance when they know YOU have chosen through your free will, given so lovingly from God, to be in Heaven with us!!!
Everyone who calls on the Name of Jesus and believes in Him will be saved...
Please see the ***Salvation Prayer toward the end of today's posting. You can tell God anytime that your choice is Jesus Christ!! Do not tarry or wait, please! Do this for yourself and your family, friends, and others in your circle of influence in this lifetime.
God bless you richly in the grace of Jesus Christ- as only the Son of God can bless you! I pray you TAKE Salvation and Lordship, Love and Protection all the days of your lives, no matter what.

I wish that influential people such
as: Buddha,
Mohammed, the Dali Lama, Mahatma Gandhi, Joseph Smith, Mary Baker Eddy,
and thousands of
inauthentic people of supposed
religions/faith would have been
(but never were and are certainly NOT)
true believers and speakers/teachers for
the Only Messiah, Jesus Christ.
I often think of the impact mega-celebrities
such as Oprah could have- the good that they could do to tell the Truth from
their "pulpits" about
Christ
if only they would believe and live
as true Christians,
born again, and living
for Jesus, the Lord and Savior.
They do not do so, however!!
If these impostors of false faiths could
be true givers and lovers of the Lord God, and then actually to love
and cherish people-
unselfishly, not with arrogance and a
terrible, puffed up view of themselves- I can only imagine the
possibilities for spreading the
Truth of the Good News, the Gospel of
Jesus Christ!
It is hard to be in the spotlight and not
get a distorted self-image...may I say self-worship and self-idolatry? I
do feel very sad for folks who are new to the spotlight of culture, the world
and media, and I pray for them-especially the youngest "stars," but
even the "oldsters," the ones who have had decades of stardom.
I pray that they will see and believe the
truth that Jesus Christ of Nazareth alone can give- take away their sins,
come into their lives and make them whole, day by day.
If only... people like you and me
would do the same! Can you imagine the impact we (would) have on our
families, churches, schools, places of work, with neighbors, with everyone whom
our lives touched- our circles of influence. Wow. What a wonderful
world, and God's life-saving Message of the Gift of His Son would circle round
our neighborhoods and the world- lickety-split!
My son-in-law made a very forthright
statement that has stuck with me, indeed. Eric and I were talking
together not so long ago...Eric said that, "If people truly believed that
Jesus is the Son of God, wouldn't they be doing absolutely every single thing
that they could do- knocking on everyone's door, calling out the Truth of Jesus
Christ to help change everyone's life?"
I replied, "Yes! and People are doing
that very thing right now here and other places. In fact, I am getting to
that point myself!"
Eric's point is this: the Good News of the
Gospel (you
can read yourself the three synoptic gospels at:
https://www.google.com/#q=synoptic+gospels that Matthew, Mark, and Luke
have written, along with John's fourth gospel in the New Testament of the
Bible) is so fantastic, and beyond anything this earth truly offers. Jesus'
birth, life, ministry, miracles, solid knowledge of the Law, but every time the
Pharisees tried to trick Jesus, He came out with a bolder truth, that truly
made them look for small (they were trying to trick him to say something wrong
that they could accuse or convict Him).
Jesus put Himself with the most unlovely
people, not the higher-ups who had power, prestige, religious power and
presence, nor the wealthy, but with the lowly, needy and admittedly or
obviously sinners.
Pray this prayer if you are not already
saved by Jesus Christ or if you are uncertain, worried, or confused. God most assuredly WILL hear you and answer Your
prayer with His definite- Yes!- I, the LORD, am so glad you took my Salvation that I acquired
for you on the cross!!
Dear Father in Heaven,
I know You want me to be with You in this life and in the
next in Heaven. I want to
be there with You, also. Thank
You, Jesus Christ; I want you to be my Lord and Savior. You created me for this time and
moment. As I am Yours now,
the Holy Spirit of God has come immediately to live inside me to help me in all
ways!!
You came to this world to take my place on the cross…You alone are the only Lamb of God Who, completely Perfect and Holy, taking my place in death and resurrection, forgiving me of all my sin. Now I don’t have to carry that around. After You gave Your Life on the cross taking all of the sin that was, is, or ever would be; being resurrected, spending 40 days with many people; then later, you arose to be at the right hand of the Father to intercede for me.
Please take my Life, lead me and keep me each day. I want my whole family and others to be saved with the knowledge and grace and love of You, Jesus. I would like to tell others about You, the Gospel, Good News, I need your uplifting in that and all things. Help me to learn more about You and to give you myself each day for your leading.

Seek out a great Bible-believing, Christ-believing church where they
